In 2019, KeyBank acquired the student loan refinancing Fintech known as Laurel Road, which focuses on medical professionals. This gave the Studio the opportunity to help design a robust, expandable banking platform based on KeyBank's online banking.
Objective
To examine both existing digital platforms and align on design potential and preferences with technology, product owners, business partners, marketing, and executives.
Challenge
We only had 6 months to make it happen!
Outcomes
Proved the value of design collaboration and ideation in creating detailed prototypes and hi-fidelity mockups.
Uncovered flaws in the KeyBank's online banking system and gathered resources to make improvements.
Stood up an on-brand and dynamic online banking system for Laurel Road to help them meet their members' unique needs.
